The Performing Arts students bring the energy, the beat goes on
and the dancing continues with another 2 shows today...
Over the last two days former students have been showing their support for The Mix
and after the performances have been discussing the professional work
they have been involved in since graduating from the Performing Arts course...
Their work has included: Contemporary Theatre, Scriptwriting, Choreography, Commercial Dance, Performing Arts Workshop Leading,
Community Arts Work, Directing, Tourist Industry Performances, Role Play Training and Events Management.
The shows today were dedicated to our much loved colleague and friend,
Sally Ann Saidy who sadly passed away on this day three years ago.
It was Sal who established the annual dance show to provide the students with a work related experience similar to that
of a professional dancer involved in a large scale, public performance, running for a series of matinees and evening shows.
Today over fifteen years later Sal's vision lives on.
