'Urban Storeys' is a short film created by Higher National Diploma Year 2 as part of their Devising Performance Unit and study of Mike Leigh's character and scenario creation process. Beth, Cindy, Patsy and Max are living in the inner-city high rise complex City Towers. This 'fly on the wall' style of film follows one week in their lives and uncovers their secrets and lies.
The film was shown as part of the WSA February Contemporary Performance Festival and afterwards the audience had the opportunity to talk to the characters and discuss the issues raised.
